“You bring chaos, we bring handcuffs”

After protests against raids from the immigration authority, the US President reacts. But in California you don’t want your support.
President Donald Trump ordered the use of 2,000 soldiers in the National Guard in response to massive protests against raids from the US immigration authority in Los Angeles. The soldiers are supposed to put an end to “lawlessness” there, explained the spokeswoman for the White House, Karoline Leavitt.
“The Trump government pursues a zero tolerance policy in criminal behavior and violence, especially if violence is directed against law enforcement officers,” said government spokeswoman Leavitt. For the current situation, she blamed the “incompetent” democratic leadership in Los Angeles and in the state of California.

As commander -in -chief, Trump will ensure that the United States’ laws would be enforced, it said. Usually the states in the United States have control over the national guard. Each state has its own national guard, which can be used in forest fires, hurricanes or unrest. In total, the United States has more than 325,000 national guards.
Shortly before the official announcement, Trump had already threatened a federal intervention. If governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass did not make her jobs properly, the government will solve the problem with “unrest and looting”, he wrote on Truth Social. He described the governor as “newscum” – a pun with the English term “scum” for scum.
Newsom protested against the procedure. The authorities see no need for a national guard operation and could access reinforcements at any time. “This is the wrong task and will shake the public’s trust,” warned the democratic governor of X. With this step, the government is deliberately heating the situation, which will only lead to further escalation. Trump sends the national guard “not because there is a lack of law enforcement forces, but because they want a spectacle,” he wrote on X and added: “Never use violence. Speak peacefully.”
The disparagement of the democratic governor also indicates the political dimension of the case: Newsom is not only one of the most prominent democrats, he is also considered a possible prospect of the presidential candidacy of his party in the election 2028. And: Newsom rules an enormously economical state with almost 40 million inhabitants – this is more than a tenth of the US population.

One of the two California US senators, Adam Schiff, called the use of the National Guard against the will of the governor “unprecedented”. So that chaos should be donated and an escalation is brought about. He called for an end to violence – there was nothing “what President Trump would like more than violent clashes with demonstrators” in order to justify the use of the military or a form of war law, warned ship on X.
“You bring chaos, we bring handcuffs”
The Vice-Bundespunde FBI, Dan Bongino, said that there were a number of arrests in the protests on Friday. “You bring chaos, we bring handcuffs,” he wrote on X. “Law and order will prevail.”
Most recently, the National Guard was sent to California due to unrest. At that time, the occasion was riots that had been triggered by police violence by the death of African American George Floyd.
Since Friday there had been protests in the Los Angeles area against ICE missions. The authority “Immigration and Customs Enforcement” is responsible for enforcing immigration laws and should arrest migrants. The white house spoke of “normal deportation inserts”. The security forces countered the demonstrators in full gear with signs and helmets and also used tear gas.
