10.15 a.m.: Green parties in Europe have called on American Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein to drop out of the presidential race. In a post shared on Platform X, they explain that the election between Trump and Harris is so close that every vote counts, so Stein should withdraw and publicly support Harris.

Harris is the only one who can prevent Trump and his undemocratic and authoritarian policies. This is all the more important because the world needs the USA as a reliable partner in a time of international crises such as climate change and the war in the Middle East.

10 a.m.: Trump said during a campaign appearance in Arizona that former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney should be shot. “She’s a radical war fanatic. Let’s have her stand there with a gun while nine guns shoot at her, all pointing at her face,” Trump told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Trump also called Cheney “very stupid,” “a stupid person,” and a “moron.”

Republican Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, had publicly announced, along with her father, that she would support Harris in this election.

5:00 a.m.: A few days before the US presidential election, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are hunting for votes in the battleground states of Nevada and Arizona. Both performed in front of their cheering supporters. The Democratic vice president and the Republican are in a neck-and-neck race – and Nevada and Arizona could provide the decisive electoral votes.

Harris sought a clear contrast to Trump. The ex-president wants to divide Americans, she said. But she relies on unity: “We have so much more in common.” For an attack, she used Trump’s recent statement at a campaign appearance in Wisconsin that he would protect women “whether they want it or not.” Harris now replied that Trump was someone who simply did not respect the freedom of women.

Trump, for his part, promised that he would “bring back the American dream”, spoke again of an “invasion” of America by migrants and said that no one had been as bad in the vice office as Harris. At the same time, he announced that he would also entrust vaccination opponent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with “women’s health.”

4.30 a.m.: Trump’s running mate JD Vance has sparked controversy with comments made in an interview with popular podcaster Joe Rogan. He claimed, among other things, that young people were changing their gender because it was easier for transgender people to get into elite American universities. On the other hand, he wouldn’t be surprised if he and Trump won more “normal gay votes.” He also criticized the fact that some women “celebrated” abortions.

4:00 a.m.: Pop star Madonna announced on Instagram that she will vote for Kamala Harris. The 66-year-old can be seen in several photos in various scenes in the French capital. For example, she is out and about in a casual outfit with a large teddy bear in her arms or elegantly dressed in an art gallery.

In the caption, the singer wrote: “Paris was so much fun! It was hard to leave but I had to come home to vote.” At the same time, she expressed her support for Kamala Harris as the future President of the United States.
