Donald Trump is losing control

The allegations against Patel’s girlfriend are so serious that Wilkins has now filed several libel lawsuits, including one for $5 million against right-wing extremist commentator Elijah Schaffer. This made prominent MAGA figures even more against them, who in turn sensed censorship in this step.

The notorious right-wing conspiracy theorist Candace Owens recently even publicly demanded: “Kash Patel must resign.” Because it was unbearably embarrassing that the FBI chief, as a government representative, would behave “like a teenager in love,” she wrote on her X profile, which has more than seven million subscribers. Trump’s FBI director is increasingly caught in the web of conspiracy that he and the president himself helped to spin.

In addition, there were now the newly published emails from Democrats and Republicans. There are around 20,000 documents in which several messages suggest how close Trump and Epstein must have been for at least a long time. The most serious accusation against the president is: “Of course he knew about the girls.” Trump had always claimed that in truth he barely knew Epstein, let alone went in and out with him regularly and certainly didn’t know about the sexual crimes.

Trump must now fear that next week a majority in Congress will meet – with the votes of some Republicans – demanding that all Epstein documents from the Justice Department be disclosed. The Republicans in the Senate or he as president could prevent this with his veto. But the accusation of a willful cover-up would then only increase.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, known for her conspiracy theories, provided a foretaste of this. In an interview with the TV station “CBS”, the actual Trumpist criticized the president’s refusal to release the Epstein files as a “serious misjudgment”. She doesn’t believe that Trump has anything to hide. But, Greene said of the Epstein victims, she “fully stands with the women, and I think they deserve us to fight for them.”

Trump seems to be outraged by such statements. In a post on Truth Social, the president quickly withdrew all political support from one of his most important allies. He wrote of Greene as an “angry madwoman” who would now be challenged in the upcoming midterm elections in her district by other Republicans, “wonderful, conservative people.” Greene had drifted “far to the left” with her Epstein demands.
