Minister Işıkhan pointed out that minimum wage negotiations will begin in the first or second week of December. The 2025 minimum wage increase will be announced to the public after 3 meetings to be held by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which consists of the government, workers and employers.

When asked about the work on determining the new minimum wage, Işıkhan said, “We will carry out the process as last year. We will meet with the parties in the first or second week of December. We are ready, we will announce the process when the minimum wage calendar is determined.”

The minimum wage is determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which consists of 15 people, including five representatives from workers, employers and the government, as required by law.

The commission convenes on determined dates in December within the scope of its efforts to determine the new minimum wage.
