Since June 12, there has been a remarkable increase in cyber attacks in the region. According to cyber security sources, digital attacks in the Iran-Israeli war increased by 700 percent. The targeted points include government systems, financial infrastructures and health institutions. The nature of these attacks is not just playing information; At the same time, destructive software with the capacity to collapse the infrastructures are used.

Iran went to internet restrictions in response to increasing threats. Mobile networks were reported to slow down, prevent VPN services and access to some messaging applications. This digital closure move is considered both as a precaution against external interventions and as a reflex of controlling the internal public opinion.

In this process, one of the quietest powers settled at the center of decision -making and guidance mechanisms: Artificial intelligence.

Developed by the US Department of Defense “Project Maven” The system can process video and sensor data on the battlefield by processing target analyzes in a very short time. With this system, the analysis of hundreds of people for days can be completed within minutes through algorithms. Although human approval is required, technology is now preparing the ground for the decision.

Another remarkable façade is social media platforms. Following every hot development in the region, it is observed that the content produced by thousands of boots becomes widespread and the perception of the public is shaped in this way. Fake images, manipulative news and organized disinformation campaigns increase the impact of conflict on minds.

As of 2024, the global budget, which was allocated to artificial intelligence in the defense sector, exceeded $ 10 billion. According to international military technology reports, this figure is expected to double by 2030. This shows that technology is no longer not only supportive, but a strategic decisive role.

In this new war order, conflicts are not only physical. Data flows, digital systems, social media dynamics have become the essential elements of modern conflicts. Now the battlefields are shaped not only on geographical maps, but also on screens and codes.
