Central Bank reserves increased by $6.7 billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by $6 billion 789 million compared to the previous week and reached $153 billion 550 million in the week of September 13.

TCMB announced the weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of September 13, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $5 billion 587 million to $92 billion 155 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were $86 billion 568 million on September 6.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 1 billion 202 million dollars from 60 billion 193 million dollars to 61 billion 395 million dollars.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $6 billion 789 million in the week of September 13 compared to the previous week, from $146 billion 761 million to $153 billion 550 million.
