Central Bank reserves increased by 3.5 billion dollars

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 3 billion 552 million dollars in the week of April 17 compared to the previous week, reaching 174 billion 467 million dollars.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of April 17, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 2 billion 246 million dollars to 61 billion 821 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 64 billion 67 million dollars on April 10.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 5 billion 800 million dollars, from 106 billion 847 million dollars to 112 billion 647 million dollars.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 3 billion 552 million dollars in the week of April 17 compared to the previous week, from 170 billion 915 million dollars to 174 billion 467 million dollars.
