Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 10 billion 489 million dollars in the week of July 3 compared to the previous week and reached 159 billion 694 million dollars.
CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics. Accordingly, as of July 3, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 7 billion 701 million dollars and reached 61 billion 952 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 54 billion 251 million dollars on June 26.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 2 billion 788 million dollars, from 94 billion 954 million dollars to 97 billion 742 million dollars.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 10 billion 489 million dollars in the week of July 3 compared to the previous week, rising from 149 billion 205 million dollars to 159 billion 694 million dollars.
