While the BIST 100 index decreased by 4.09 points compared to the previous closing, the total transaction volume was 158.2 billion lira.

The banking index lost 0.26 percent and the holding index lost 0.62 percent.

Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was sports with 5.17 percent, and the biggest loser was informatics with 4.28 percent.

In global markets, a negative trend is observed, while the weakening of hopes for an agreement to end the conflicts between the USA and Iran and the continuing uncertainty regarding oil traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, the appreciation of Brent oil increases inflation concerns.

Analysts stated that short-term external debt statistics will be followed in the country tomorrow, and an intense data agenda will be followed abroad, especially inflation in the UK and the Eurozone and FOMC meeting minutes in the USA, and noted that technically, 14,000 and 13,900 points in the BIST 100 index are support, while 14,300 and 14,400 points are resistance.
