Artificial intelligence is changing the way college students study

Just as artificial intelligence is breaking new ground in all areas, it is also increasing its impact in education.

In this context, a global survey was conducted regarding students’ use and perception of artificial intelligence.

According to a survey by online learning platform Chegg, remarkable results have emerged for students in Turkey: “30 percent of Turkish students use generative artificial intelligence for their university studies”

Most Turkish students who use artificial intelligence stated the following as their reasons for use:

40 percent – helps me learn faster.

34 percent – it gives me more time for myself.

34 percent – personalizes my learning.

31 percent – makes learning more interactive.

54 percent of Turkish students prefer to involve human expertise in generating answers.

63 percent of Turkish students said that universities and colleges should encourage the use of productive AI tools for their studies.
