According to a new study using artificial intelligence, thousands of investigations, rankings and measurements were analyzed to establish a connection between the average IQ of the audience and their favorite films. This controversial study stems from a study conducted by researchers using artificial intelligence models trained to analyze data from forums such as IMDB, Reddit and other film review sites.
The aim was to determine the correlations between the Film pleasure and users’ estimated IQ (intelligence coefficient) based on language, interpretation depth, vocabulary and other semantic measurements. According to this study, low IQs tend to choose films with simple plot, predictable character development and basic humor.

This interesting study also explains that low IQ people prefer films with striking visuals, but are less demanding in terms of analysis or interpretation.

In the study, it is argued that those who have lower IQ are watching films such as Transformers Series, Fast and Furious Series, Grown UPS and Mall Cop.

Another study conducted by the Hungarian newspaper Life with artificial intelligence argued that five ideal five films for people with high IQs were 2001: A Space Odyssey, Primer, Synecdoche, New York, Arrival and The Double. According to this study, the common point of these films was to require deep and comprehensive attention and offer intelligent stories that offer mental difficulties and complex answers.
