Google Play brings you together with the applications and games you love. Today, it’s becoming a place to connect with apps you’ve created, so anyone with any idea can create a personal app and publish it on Google Play. We’re also introducing new ways to explore and play that put you in control.

Here’s what’s new in Google Play.

FINDING GAMES WITH GAMER DNA

With its official statement, Google announced that it has made important innovations that will radically change the user experience on the Play Store, the heart of the Android ecosystem. The technology giant has launched a new infrastructure that allows even non-developers to create their own custom applications with artificial intelligence tools. This feature, which is initially offered to users in the USA, enables individual projects to be run safely on devices and eliminates the requirement for a developer account. In addition, the company aims to personalize users’ game discovery processes by including the new Game Discovery feature, supported by the system called Gamer DNA, on the platform.

VİBE CODING METHOD

With Google’s new feature, you can create your application, run it on your phone, and you don’t have to publish it publicly.

For this, you can use the vibe coding method via Google AI Studio. Vibe coding is an approach where you describe the application you want to develop in natural language and most of the code is created by artificial intelligence. For example, you can prepare a simple tool or a special assistant to organize your daily tasks. Google Play offers a way to run this application on your own device.

The most important convenience of the new feature is that it does not require a professional developer account. You can run the personal Android application you created in Google AI Studio with your standard Google account on your own device via Google Play.

These apps do not appear in Google Play’s public search results and app listings. This means that the tool you develop remains for your use only; You don’t have to release it as an app that anyone can download. However, applications must comply with Google Play policies.

The feature is gradually rolling out in select markets, including the US, for users 18 and over.
