The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SAMA Chairman Ayman Al-Sayari and CBRT Chairman Dr. Fatih Karahan at the meeting held within the scope of the 24Fintech conference in Riyadh on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
The CBRT’s statement on the subject is as follows;
“A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia on September 3, 2024 to lay the groundwork for the development of cooperation in central banking matters.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by our President Dr. Fatih Karahan and the Governor of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia Ayman M. Al-Sayari in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Within the scope of the agreement, it is planned to strengthen cooperation between the central banks of the two countries and to carry out technical studies within the institutional framework in the field of central banking.”
