US singer Katy Perry, Blue Origin’s ‘New Shepard’ vehicle is going into space with the flight. Perry was accompanied by five more women, including Jeff Bezos’s fiancé Lauren Sanchez.
This task has been the first space crew of women in 1963 since the historical flight of the Soviet Cosmonaut Valentina Teşkova.
On the flight, which will last for about 10 minutes, the crew went beyond the Karman Line, which is considered as a space border in the international arena. For a short time, they were able to leave their seats in a gravity environment and move freely.
