The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has extended the deadline for investment funds to fully comply with portfolio and investment restrictions to January 31, 2027.

According to the statement made by the CMB, the Board made changes to some articles of the Guide on Investment Funds.

In this context, the provision regulating the exemptions regarding money and capital market instruments of public institutions and their subsidiaries has been abolished, without prejudice to the same provisions in the Communiqué on Principles on Investment Funds.

On the other hand, taking into account the recent developments in the markets, the compliance calendar has been updated, which regulates compliance with portfolio and investment restrictions and gives gradual compliance on 31 October 2026, 30 November 2026, and a full and final compliance period on 31 December 2026.

Accordingly, the deadline for final and full compliance with portfolio and investment limitations was determined as January 31, 2027, without applying the gradual adaptation provisions.
