The Democrats publish a report that directly links the US President to Epstein’s network. They also make serious allegations against Trump’s Justice Department.
Democrats in the US House of Representatives have released a comprehensive report that establishes a direct link between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities. It was written by the Judiciary Committee staff led by Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin.
In it, the Democrats are calling for the appointment of an independent special investigator to investigate Trump as a possible co-conspirator in the Epstein network.
Accusations against Trump
In a sense, Trump himself provided the title of the report: In the birthday wishes that he wrote to Epstein in his personal birthday book, he wrote, among other things: “A friend is a wonderful thing” – and: “We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.” The note was embedded in a drawing of a naked woman’s body and was in the “Friends” section of the book. Trump denies being the author; The report counters this with a written comparison with other Trump documents, which suggests a match. The Associated Press reported Congress’s release of this note in September 2025.

The focus of the approximately 50-page report is on statements from eleven women. Five of them directly accuse Trump of rape or sexual assault – in one case the victim is said to have been 13 years old at the time of the crime. The Democrats are relying on FBI interviews, sworn statements and court documents from the Maxwell trial.
Among the women is Jill Harth, who sued Trump in 1997 and described how he harassed her at Mar-a-Lago – in the presence of Epstein, according to the report. Another woman, named “Jane” in the report, was said to be 14 years old at the time of her alleged encounter with Trump. Epstein is said to have introduced her at the time with the words: “That’s a good one, right?” – Trump is said to have replied: “Yes.”
Goldberger: Epstein wasn’t banned from Trump’s clubs
Also central to the report is a document from 2009: a forwarded email from Epstein lawyer Jack Goldberger that documents a 20-minute phone call with Trump and his lawyer – a conversation that, according to the report, replaced a formal interrogation of Trump as a witness in a civil case about Epstein’s human trafficking.
In it, Goldberger states that Trump stated unequivocally that Epstein was “never asked to leave” at Mar-a-Lago – the club’s manager at the time also confirmed this. Trump has publicly claimed the opposite for years: he kicked Epstein out of his club when he found out about his actions. According to the report, the document remains blacked out in the official registry of the Department of Justice (DOJ) – which the Democrats see as a violation of federal law.
“Everyone knew what he was up to”
Even more explosive is further evidence the report cites that Trump knew about Epstein’s crimes. According to the former Palm Beach police chief, Trump called him in 2006 and said, “Thank God you stopped him – everyone knew what he was doing.”
