According to reports in the American media based on Trump’s financial documents, Trump purchased SpaceX’s debt securities worth $1 to $5 million in August.

Two days later, Trump signed a memorandum establishing new policy aimed at strengthening space transportation.

It was stated that this purchase from SpaceX was among the 517 transactions made by Trump in August, and “conflict of interest” questions were raised here.

PURCHASES MADE BEFORE HOSTING THE CEOS AT THE WHITE HOUSE ALSO DRAWN ATTENTION

On the other hand, according to the documents, Trump purchased up to $25 million of Meta shares, up to $6 million of Microsoft shares and a smaller amount of Oracle shares.

It did not go unnoticed that this purchase took place weeks before Trump brought together the CEOs of large companies, including the companies in question, at the White House.

THE WHITE HOUSE DEFENDED THAT TRUMP HIMSELF DID NOT CARRY OUT THE TRANSACTIONS

On the other hand, White House spokesman Davis Ingle said in a statement to CNN: “President Trump’s stock and bond portfolio is managed by independent third-party financial institutions. All assets are held in authorized accounts and are created through computer-based model portfolios that automatically mimic well-known indices such as Schwab 1000.” he said.

Underlining that Trump or any member of his family “does not have the authority to direct, influence or express an opinion on how the portfolio will be created or when investments will be bought and sold,” Ingle noted that these decisions are made by independent managers.

“There is no conflict of interest,” Ingle said. he stated.
