Internet traffic to artificial intelligence tools increased by 46 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year. According to the research prepared by AITools.xyz based on the data of more than 9,500 artificial intelligence tools, the websites of these tools received 125.7 billion visits throughout the year. Traffic forecasts from Semrush and Ahrefs were used in the research. Türkiye ranked 19th in the world with 1.92 billion visits to the websites of artificial intelligence tools in 2025. Türkiye’s share in global AI tool web traffic was calculated as 1.5 percent. Just above Türkiye are South Korea, Australia and Russia. Poland comes after Türkiye with 1.80 billion visits. Thus, Türkiye was included in the same global group with countries such as China, Russia, South Korea and Australia.
USA ALONE RECEIVED 26.9 BILLION VISITS
The highest number of visits to the websites of artificial intelligence tools were from the USA. The number of visits in the USA reached 26.92 billion. This figure corresponds to 21.4 percent of the world total. India ranked second with 11.96 billion visits, and Brazil ranked third with 7.02 billion visits. Germany was in the top five with 4.57 billion visits and the United Kingdom with 3.84 billion visits. Total visits from the USA, India and Brazil reached 45.9 billion. These three countries combined accounted for approximately 36.5 percent of worldwide traffic.
RUSSIA AND SOUTH KOREA ARE AHEAD
China ranks 15th on the list. AI tools website visits in China were calculated at 2.42 billion. Russia was ahead of Türkiye with 2.38 billion visits, Australia with 2.29 billion and South Korea with 2.26 billion visits. Türkiye’s 1.92 billion traffic is above Poland, Colombia, Pakistan and the Netherlands.
THE NUMBERS ARE NOT THE NUMBER OF USERS
The figures in the research do not directly show the number of people using artificial intelligence.. The measured data consists of total visits to the AI tools’ websites. Visits made by the same person at different times can be counted separately. Visits to different artificial intelligence tools are also added to the total traffic. Usage in mobile applications is not included in the research.
