Apple has introduced new updates for operating systems, especially iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27. With the updates comes next-generation Siri AI, Apple Intelligence features, comprehensive parental controls, and performance improvements across platforms. According to the company’s statement, updates have started to be distributed gradually starting today.
Siri has been renewed from the ground up
Siri AI powered by next generation Apple Intelligence; Integrated into iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro.
Siri AI aims to provide a more natural speaking experience; It can understand personal context, detect content on the user’s screen, and take action on system-wide applications. While the English beta version of the new Siri is available, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish support is planned to arrive in October.
Siri AI; It will be able to help the user find the content they are looking for by using the information in messages, e-mails and photos. They will also be able to answer questions about the content on the screen and search the internet when up-to-date information is needed.
Thanks to the “Siri mode” added to the iPhone’s Camera application, users will be able to get information about the objects they see with the camera and perform operations on them. For example, it will be possible to divide an account between people or add a special card to the Wallet application.
The Visual Intelligence feature will also allow iPhone, iPad and Mac users to ask Siri questions about the contents on the screen. Vision Pro users will be able to request information or initiate action by looking at the objects around them.
CONVERSATION CAN BE MOVED FROM ONE DEVICE TO ANOTHER
With the “Write with Siri” feature, users will be able to create drafts or improve the text they write by describing the text they need.
The standalone Siri application will sync conversation history between Apple devices via iCloud. Thus, a conversation started on iPhone can be continued on Mac, iPad, Apple Watch or Vision Pro. Apple stated that the synchronization process will be done while protecting user privacy.
NEW FEATURES FOR PHOTO AND SAFARI
Spatial Reframing, Extend and renewed Clean Up tools have been added to the Photos application with Apple Intelligence. These features will allow changing the frame, expanding the photo and cleaning unwanted objects while preserving the original structure of the image.
Image Playground will be able to create visuals in different styles, including photorealistic options. Images produced or edited with artificial intelligence can be distinguished through file information and the SynthID standard, which will be supported in the future.
Tabs opened in Safari can be automatically arranged according to topics with the help of artificial intelligence. Users will also be able to receive notifications about changes to websites, such as product restocks or price drops. Safari will also allow the creation of custom extensions via a written recipe.
The Call Context feature will automatically display relevant information such as a verification code or reservation number when calling a business.
PARENTAL CONTROLS
With the updates, the setup process for child accounts has also been renewed. Parents will be able to determine which applications children can access when the device is first set up and add new applications to the list later.
The “Ask to Browse” feature will allow children to ask their parents for permission before entering a new website in Safari. Parents will also be able to individually approve who their child contacts.
The Communication Safety feature will be able to detect and block sexual content as well as bloody or violent images in shared photos and videos.
The renewed Screen Time section will show children’s average device usage and the applications they spend the most time on, on a single screen. Parents will be able to set total daily usage limits for entertainment, games and social media applications; will be able to determine applications that can be accessed at different hours.
SPEED AND CONNECTION IMPROVEMENTS
According to the information provided by Apple, with the new updates, applications will open up to 30 percent faster on iPhone and iPad. The upload time of captured photos will be accelerated by up to 70 percent, and AirDrop transfers will be accelerated by up to 80 percent.
File transfer to external USB sticks on iPad will be accelerated up to five times; It was stated that closing windows, switching between applications and moving windows while multitasking will also become more fluid.
AirDrop and iCloud Photos performance on Macs will be improved, while transitions between Mission Control and desktops will be smoother. It was stated that the startup and Wi-Fi connection speed of Apple Vision Pro will increase up to three times.
The problem of waiting for subsequent messages when sending large photos or videos at low connection speed in the Messages application will also be resolved.
New customization options have been added to the Liquid Glass design. Thanks to the slider in the settings section, the appearance of the interface can be adjusted between extremely transparent and fully colored options. App icons have also been made sharper and more prominent.

Photos and videos can be shared in full resolution in iCloud Shared Albums. It will be easier for Android and Windows users to join albums.
Perimenopause and menopause support will be added to the Cycle Tracking section in the Health app.
AirPods users will be able to benefit from customizable equalizer settings.
The Flyover feature in Apple Maps will combine aerial images with artificial intelligence to provide more detailed visuals.
Smart Stack recommendations will be developed on Apple Watch, and the widget can be opened by moving the wrist with one hand.
Vision Pro users will be able to transform panoramic photos into in-depth spatial scenes.
High-resolution lossless audio support for Apple Music, a renewed Podcast app, and more comprehensive text size options will come to Apple TV.
