According to the statement made by ASELSAN, the firing activity of the GÜRZ Air Defense System was carried out successfully.
In the activity carried out with the system that offers a layered air defense solution against different air threats at close range through a single vehicle, high success was achieved in tracking, tracking continuity and range accuracy with radar and electro-optical detection.
While GÜRZ confirmed its competence with its tetrahedral AESA radar, electro-optical suites and communication systems, the GÖKSUR missile used in the activity followed the expected trajectory by performing difficult maneuvers.

GÜRZ Air Defense System, developed and produced by ASELSAN, offers a multi-layered air defense solution on a single platform by allowing the use of different interceptors, including artillery and missiles.
