PC system requirements for CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered update have been announced. The minimum and recommended hardware announced show that the game can run on a wide range of computers despite the new generation graphics features.
According to the data shared by the developer team, players who want to experience the renewed version must have at least a 64-bit Windows 11 operating system and 12 GB RAM capacity.
Requiring 70 GB SSD storage space directly instead of old generation mechanical hard disks (HDD) clearly shows that smoother environment transitions and fast loading times are aimed.
While Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processors are requested at the entry level, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT or Intel Arc A580 models are the minimum threshold on the graphics card side.
On the recommended side, to fully reveal the potential of visual effects and new rendering technologies, Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor duo and RTX 2060 SUPER, RX 6600 XT or Intel Arc B580 graphics cards are recommended.
