The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, one of the popular games set in the Lord of the Rings universe, returned after many years with its renewed version. Prepared by Aspyr, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition brings the 2011 action RPG to modern consoles and PC.

Developed by Snowblind Studios and published by Warner Bros. Published by Games, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North was first released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in November 2011. The production stood out as one of the games visually influenced by Peter Jackson’s movie trilogy and based on JRR Tolkien’s Middle Earth universe.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition; It is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The PC version can be played on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.

The updated version of the game includes 4K 60 FPS support, as well as various bug fixes and changes that improve quality of life. These include the ability to lock on to enemies and the option to instantly switch between different characters.
