Second-hand house sales decreased by 20.8 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 81 thousand 74. The share of first-hand house sales in total house sales was 34.4 percent, and the share of second-hand house sales was 65.6 percent.

Mortgaged house sales across Türkiye increased by 23.7 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 23 thousand 888. Other housing sales decreased by 23.1 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 99 thousand 715. The share of mortgage sales in total housing sales was 19.3 percent, and the share of other sales was 80.7 percent.
Housing sales to foreigners declined throughout 2026. It has increased rapidly in the last 2 months.
Housing sales to foreigners increased by 1.9 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 2 thousand 120. In July, the share of housing sales to foreigners in total housing sales was 1.7 percent. In the January-July period, housing sales to foreigners decreased by 7.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 11 thousand 203.
