Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 2 billion 116 million dollars in the week of July 24 compared to the previous week and reached 162 billion 606 million dollars.
CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics. Accordingly, as of July 24, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 3 billion 31 million dollars to 62 billion 396 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 65 billion 427 million dollars on July 17.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 5 billion 147 million dollars, from 95 billion 63 million dollars to 100 billion 210 million dollars.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 2 billion 116 million dollars in the week of July 24 compared to the previous week, rising from 160 billion 490 million dollars to 162 billion 606 million dollars.
