The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced the results of the Sectoral Inflation Expectations survey. In the survey, while the inflation expectations of market participants increased, the inflation expectations of the real sector, that is, producers and industrialists, decreased.
In July 2026, 12-month annual inflation expectations increased by 0.14 points to 23.95 percent for market participants compared to the previous month, while they decreased by 0.60 points to 32.50 percent for the real sector and decreased by 1.19 points to 44.94 percent for households.
The rate of households expecting inflation to decrease in the next 12 months increased by 1.93 points compared to the previous month and reached 17.63 percent.
