Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) shared inflation data for June, the sixth month of the year.
According to the announced data, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.99 percent on a monthly basis in June, while annual inflation was at 32.11 percent.
With the June figures becoming clear, the salary increase rates that public servants and retirees deserve as of July 2026 have also been finalized.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase in the first 6 months of the year was 17.76 percent in total.
In line with the current legal regulations, the July salary increase for Bağ-Kur and SSK retirees became clear at this level (17.76%).
On the other hand, the salary increase rate of civil servants and retired civil servants, determined based on collective agreement provisions and inflation difference calculation, was determined as 13.51 percent.
Civil servants received their right to a 7 percent raise arising from the collective agreement last month.
