The Union of Chambers of Agriculture of Türkiye shared the price changes for June with the public. While there was an increase in the prices of 21 of the 38 products followed in June, the prices of 17 products decreased.
The product with the highest price difference between the producer and the market was apple. The apple, which was sold for approximately 19 lira from the producer, was sold on the market shelves for 50 lira in some points and up to 80 lira in some points.
Apple was followed by carrots with 284.2 percent, strawberries with 283.5 percent, green beans with 251.3 percent and cherries with 246.9 percent.
The product whose price increased the most in the market in June was strawberry, with 81 percent. After strawberries, carrots, zucchini, onions and potatoes were among the products with the highest price increases.
In the same period, the product whose price decreased the most in the market was tomato, with 37.8 percent. Tomato was followed by watermelon, chickpeas, raisins and eggs.
