Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in the industry, construction and trade-service sectors, which was 15 million 662 thousand 751 people in April 2025, increased by 2 percent to 15 million 968 thousand 711 people in April.
In the month in question, the number of paid employees decreased by 2.4 percent on an annual basis in the industrial sector, increased by 6.8 percent in the construction sector and 3.4 percent in the trade-service sector.
MONTHLY CHANGE
The total number of paid employees in the industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 0.5 percent in April compared to March.
During this period, the number of paid employees increased by 0.3 percent in the industrial sector, 1.1 percent in the construction sector and 0.5 percent in the trade-service sector.
