In the short video shared, soldiers advancing with a bodycam camera can be seen. As tension gradually rises in the scenes that appear to take place in Korea, a major missile attack occurs at the end of the video. Especially the atmosphere of the video, which resembles the real camera image, managed to become a trending topic on social media in a short time.
Modern Warfare 3, the previous main game of the series, was released in 2023 and came to the fore with the controversy created especially by its campaign. The new game, which is the continuation of the story of Captain Price and his team, has been eagerly awaited by fans for a long time. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which was previously mentioned with various leaks and rumors, has finally been officially confirmed by Activision.
According to the official description of the game, the story takes shape against the backdrop of “a rapidly escalating global conflict centered on the Korean Peninsula.” Modern Warfare 4 takes the series into “darker and more dangerous territory,” presenting a scenario where a full-scale invasion of South Korea threatens to destabilize the world.
The game, developed by Infinity Ward, will be released on October 23, 2026.
