Uber is considering submitting a new offer after its offer to acquire Germany-based Delivery Hero, which also owns Yemeksepeti, was rejected.
According to the Financial Times, based on three sources, a major shareholder of Delivery Hero rejected the offer made with a company valuation of over 11.5 billion euros.
The news reported that Uber recently made an offer of 38 euros to the major shareholders of Delivery Hero, but the offer was rejected. According to Reuters calculations, this offer is a 15.3 percent premium to the Friday closing level of the company’s shares.
The news stated that some Delivery Hero shareholders were expecting an offer above 40 euros per share to sell the company.
