Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) decreased by 2 billion 957 million dollars in the week of May 15 compared to the previous week and reached 168 billion 572 million dollars.
CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.
Accordingly, as of May 15, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 671 million dollars to 61 billion 235 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 60 billion 564 million dollars on May 8.
During this period, gold reserves decreased by 3 billion 628 million dollars, from 110 billion 965 million dollars to 107 billion 337 million dollars.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 2 billion 957 million dollars in the week of May 15 compared to the previous week, from 171 billion 529 million dollars to 168 billion 572 million dollars.
