In the promotional activity held at the Engineering School and Training Center Command in Narlıdere district, the personnel on duty gave information about the vehicle and system.

The military personnel demonstrated the autonomous use of the vehicle in practice and also carried out the scenario of detecting the IED device in the field.

The vehicle equipped with the Electronic Circuit IED Detection and Neutralization System arrived at the area where the IED device placed on the field was located, and first detected the device by scanning the area.

The system, which neutralized the mechanism by emitting a High Power Electromagnetic Wave (HGEM), also showed its effect on a digital clock placed in the area as per the scenario.

It was observed that as the wave spread, the numbers on the digital clock’s screen disappeared, and when the waves stopped, the clock formatted itself and started working again.

The system, which entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory in April, renders the target inoperable by emitting high-power electromagnetic waves and damaging the target’s electronic circuits instead of a physical explosion.

The system, which is used in neutralizing threats from a safe distance and increasing the operational safety of troops, road and route safety, convoy security and activities against mine and IED threats, also stands out with its autonomous system and electronic jamming feature.
