Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 6 billion 46 million dollars in the week of May 8 compared to the previous week and reached 171 billion 529 million dollars.

Accordingly, as of May 8, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 3 billion 964 million dollars to 60 billion 564 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 56 billion 600 million dollars on May 1.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 2 billion 82 million dollars, from 108 billion 883 million dollars to 110 billion 965 million dollars.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 6 billion 46 million dollars in the week of May 8 compared to the previous week, from 165 billion 483 million dollars to 171 billion 529 million dollars.
