Warner Bros. According to the details shared by Games and the developer team, this production holds the title of being the longest LEGO game ever produced. The main story mode of the game is divided into six different chapters and offers an experience of approximately 15 hours. However, it is stated that the adventure is not limited to this, and the side missions contain just as much content. With a total gameplay time of more than 30 hours, this new game covers even longer than many episodes of the popular “Batman: Arkham” series. When collectible items and secret content are included, weeks of content await players who want to become the protectors of Gotham.

The promotional video, accompanied by Seal’s iconic song Kiss from a Rose, bears traces from the eras of Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan, and with its references to the Batman: Arkham games, it signals that the Dark Knight will bring together its nearly 80-year legacy in a single adventure.

Developed by TT Games, the game aims to tell an original story with references to scenes, character designs and visual elements from cinema history, rather than directly adapting any Batman movie.

The trailer also directly references a memory of tension between Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones on the set of Batman Forever. It seems that such details in the game are part of a sense of humor that also targets adult LEGO and Batman fans.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on May 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is also on the way. However, a clear release date has not been shared for this version yet.

Additionally, a DLC pack to be released in September 2026 was also announced.
