The Israeli Air Force’s massive surprise attack on Hezbollah targets in numerous locations in Lebanon has had devastating effects. The number of deaths continues to rise.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least 182 people were killed in Israeli air strikes in Lebanon. Almost 900 other people were injured, the ministry said in a statement. Many victims are still believed to be under rubble.

In a surprise major attack, the Israeli Air Force bombed numerous targets in the northern neighboring country, including the capital Beirut, despite a ceasefire in the Iran war. According to the Israeli military, the attack targeted commanders and military infrastructure of the Iran-allied Hezbollah militia. However, according to Lebanese information, many civilians were affected.

After the start of the Iran war, Hezbollah also resumed its attacks on Israel at the beginning of March. Israel responded with heavy air strikes and ground operations in its northern neighbor. Despite the ceasefire in the Iran war, Israel wants to continue its attacks on Hezbollah.
