Accordingly, 44 thousand 851 hectares of L46-d1, d2 and d3 sheets were added to the 10 thousand 243 hectares of oil exploration license area with sheet number AR/TPO/K/L46-d4 owned by TPAO in Diyarbakır province.
In addition, TPAO applied for the extension of the duration of some of its oil exploration licenses.
Accordingly, an application is made for the extension of the oil exploration license with sheet number AR/TPO/K/F18-d3 as of 31 May 2026, the license with sheet number AR/TPO/K/F17-a as of 21 May 2026, and the oil exploration license with sheet number AR/TPO/K/F19-b1, b4 as of 24 November 2026, for two years each. TPAO also applied with its petition dated February 4, 2026, for the expropriation of some immovable properties required for the location road of the Boyalı-3 well, which is planned to be opened in the oil exploration license area with sheet number AR/TPO/K/M40-d in Adıyaman.
