Sony allocated an important place to Marvel’s Wolverine, one of the long-awaited games of the gaming world, at its new State of Play event.
The production, which was developed by Insomniac Games and will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5, hosted an approximately 7-minute gameplay demonstration at the event. Sony shared the most comprehensive gameplay footage ever for the long-awaited Marvel’s Wolverine at its last State of Play event. While it was once again confirmed that the production developed specifically for PlayStation 5 will be released on September 15, 2026, important information about both the story and gameplay mechanics was revealed in the video published for more than seven minutes.
In the published images, Logan fights against various groups of enemies in his iconic yellow Wolverine costume. While the character’s attacks using his famous claws include extremely harsh and bloody scenes, the combat system seems to have a weighty and satisfying structure.
Close combat-oriented action is prioritized in the game. While the scenes in which Logan neutralizes his enemies by using environmental elements attract attention, the high level of environmental destruction effects during conflicts also stand out.
Marvel’s Wolverine will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026.
