Children’s clothing giant BBX Baby Kids Textile Industry and Trade Limited Company, which was established in Bursa in 1965 and exports to 24 countries with its two factories, went bankrupt after being unable to overcome the financial bottleneck it experienced.
CONCORDATE REQUEST WAS REJECTED
Due to the economic difficulties experienced by the company, a 3-month temporary concordat period was granted by the Bursa 2nd Commercial Court of First Instance on 13 May 2026 and precautionary measures were implemented.
The situation of the company was re-evaluated at the hearing held on 19 August 2026 in the file numbered 2026/250 of the Bursa 2nd Commercial Court of First Instance. While the concordatum and definitive deadline requests were rejected in accordance with Articles 292 and 308 of the EBL; All previously implemented measures were abolished and the board of commissioners was dismissed.
COURT DECISION: HE IS DEBRETED IN DEBT
As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the company was in debt and it was decided to go bankrupt as of 14:10 on August 19, 2026. The court ruled that the bankruptcy liquidation should be carried out by ordinary liquidation procedure and that the decision should be notified to the Bursa Bankruptcy Directorate without delay.
