Hakan Gedikli, General Manager of Land Registry and Cadastre, stated in his written statement that with the “Production of 3D City Models and Creation of 3D Cadastre Bases Project”, the buildings will be recorded and inspected in a safer, more transparent way in the digital environment.
Hakan Gedikli said:
“In this context, in transactions related to floor easement and condominium ownership, sending the 3D Digital Building Model together with the architectural project to our General Directorate in a secure electronic environment will become mandatory throughout the country as of January 1, 2025. In addition, all studies regarding the works to be carried out with the ‘Digital Building’ concept Information will be available on the corporate website ‘dijitalbina.tkgm.gov.tr’.”
Gedikli emphasized that the use of the 3D Digital Building Model in title deed transactions in Turkey by 2025 will be considered a major innovation in the real estate sector, and mentioned that the application will make a significant contribution to achieving the digitalization target.
Gedikli said, “This innovation will make significant contributions to reducing natural disaster risks and improving disaster management. I believe that with the transition process, all stakeholders in the sector will make the necessary preparations and fulfill the requirements of the system by the specified date.” he said.
