Işıkhan shared a post on his NSosyal account regarding the “Communiqué on Amendments to the Social Security Institution Health Implementation Communiqué” published in the Official Gazette.
Stating that they continue to facilitate citizens’ access to health services, Işıkhan said:
“We included 3 domestically produced drugs, including 2 Hemophilia B drugs and one cancer drug, in our reimbursement scope. We increased the amount paid by our institution for magistral drugs produced in pharmacies by 40 percent. We expanded the scope of procedures applied in pediatric surgery. We implemented significant improvements in bone marrow transplantation processes. We updated the screening processes to find suitable donors for our patients waiting for bone marrow transplantation and made arrangements regarding treatment and drug practices. We wish a speedy recovery to our patients and good luck. I wish it would.”
