Zelensky celebrates Independence Day with a declaration of war on Putin

The country is “not a victim, but a fighter.”

Zelensky also highlighted the achievements in the fifth year of the war: “In fact, our defense industry is now a giant that strengthens our independence around the clock.” The country is proud of the daily strikes against targets in the Russian hinterland, including ships, logistics centers and oil refineries. At the same time, the president vowed his country to continue the war for independence: “We must strengthen our military and have everything we need to maintain our defense.”

Zelensky made a special appeal to the leadership Beijingwhich supports Putin. “China can no longer be silent,” Zelensky said. The country must also underpin its claim to leadership in a “civilizational” way, “by making it clear that no dictator is allowed to threaten the planet with his outdated warheads.”
