The United States wants to convey a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. In the Saudi Arabian capital Riad, further conversations between Americans and Ukrainians took place.

In the Saudi capital Riad, the second round of talks between the USA and Ukraine over a limited Russian-Ukrainian ceasefire has ended. Ukrainian media reported this, citing sources of public service broadcasting. Further details were not known for the time being.

The day before, representatives of the United States and Russia had also negotiated in Riad. The first talks between American and Ukrainian supporters took place last Sunday.

The interviews were a stop of mutual attacks on the energy supply facilities, attacks in the Black Sea and a comprehensive 30-day ceasefire.

Ukraine has defended itself against a Russian invasion with western support for over three years.
