The Fast Pass System (HGS) application used by millions of people was hacked. Insulting notifications were sent to users. A statement was made by PTT General Directorate regarding the incident.
In the statement made by PTT General Directorate, the following statements were included:
“In the evening hours, there was an unauthorized access to the message service of our HGS mobile application from abroad, and in this context, it was determined that notifications unrelated to our Company were sent to some users.
LEGAL PROCESS HAS BEEN STARTED
Upon detection of the incident, our security systems were quickly activated and the necessary technical and operational measures were implemented.
During this unauthorized intervention, there was no data loss or user information falling into the hands of unauthorized persons. Additionally, a legal process has been initiated in cooperation with legal authorities. It is announced to the public with respect.”
