US government releases Epstein documents

The US Department of Justice has released the first documents in the Epstein case, but is withholding thousands more. The publication came after a deadline set by the Trump administration.

The US Department of Justice has begun publishing the so-called Epstein documents. A deadline expired this Friday. The Trump administration should actually release all documents in its possession that relate to Epstein before the deadline.

However, the ministry announced on Friday morning that it would withhold thousands of documents – relevant parts had not yet been sufficiently blacked out. The current publications contain thousands of documents that are currently being viewed by the media.
