Insider: Trump probably wants to announce raw material agreements with Ukraine

The United States and Ukraine will probably resume negotiations for a new mineral agreement. Trump apparently wants to announce it in the congress.

The government of US President Donald Trump and Ukraine are now planning to sign the mineral agreement. Trump informed his advisors that he wanted to announce the agreement in his speech before the congress on Tuesday evening, said three people familiar with the project. However, the paper has not yet been signed and the situation could still change.

Previously, Selenskyj Trump had proposed a deal for a possible ceasefire in the Russian attack war against Ukraine. Selenskyj wrote on X: “My team and I are ready under President Trump’s strong lead to create peace.” Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians.

Selenskyj also wrote about the raw material agreement with the USA. Ukraine is ready to sign the contract – when and where the USA wanted this. The agreement is a step on the way to reliable security guarantees. “I really hope it works effectively.”

Selenskyj called the scandal at the meeting in the White House, where there was a public word battle between Trump, Jd Vance and Selenskyj. “It is time to get things in order. We hope that future collaboration and communication is constructive.”

Selenskyj thanked the USA, but also Trump personally: “We appreciate how much America did so that Ukraine can get its sovereignty and independence. We also remember how things have changed as President Trump of Ukraine Javelin. We are grateful for that.”
