Minister Uraloğlu made a statement from the X account;

“As of Friday, June 27, the airspace in the east of Iran has been opened to international flights.

On the Mashhad-Istanbul line, Istanbul-directed flights will start again today by Iranian carriers. After the 15-day break with these expeditions, the airline transportation between Türkiye and Iran will be partially re-opened.

The airspace in Tehran and Tabriz cities in the west of Iran will be closed and the current restriction will continue until Wednesday, July 2. We are continuing our negotiations with the Iranian authorities to bring our aircraft on the Iran side with special permission. Both the mutual return of the flights with Iran to normal and our planes in Iran to bring our country to our country as soon as possible. “
