Shells and combat drones from the Russian armed forces hit two Ukrainian cities. The work of destruction continues.

The Russian military attacked the regions around the cities of Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih in southeastern Ukraine several times throughout the day. The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lyssak, reported on Telegram about almost a dozen attacks on the two regions with artillery and combat drones. At least one person was injured and a number of residential buildings as well as electricity and gas lines were damaged.

The day before, Nikopol was the target of Russian attacks with drones and heavy artillery. The industrial city is located on the former Kakhovka reservoir on the northern bank of the Dnipro River. On the opposite bank is the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is occupied by Russian troops.

Russia has been waging a war of aggression against neighboring Ukraine for over two and a half years. Russian military forces repeatedly bombard towns and villages indiscriminately.
