TURKSTAT announced the turnover and trade sales volume indices for the period of May 2025. Accordingly; In the total of industry, construction, trade and service sectors, the turnover index increased by 41.5 percent annually. Looking at the sub -details of the total turnover; Annual industrial sector turnover index 29.2 percent, construction turnover index 58 percent, trade turnover index 45.4 percent, service turnover index increased by 45.2 percent.
Industry, construction, trade and service sectors in the total turnover index, monthly increased by 5.7 percent. Looking at the sub -details of the total turnover; Monthly industry sector turnover index 5.8 percent, construction turnover index 15.1 percent, trade turnover index 4.9 percent, service turnover index increased by 4 percent.
Trade sales volume increased by 19.2 percent annually
Trade sales volume increased by 19.2 percent in May compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, the sales volume of sales and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles in the same month increased by 17.8 percent, wholesale trade sales volume 20.2 percent, and retail trade sales volume increased by 17.7 percent.
Trade sales volume increased by 3.3 percent compared to the previous month. In the same month, the sales volume of sales and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles in the same month increased by 1.5 percent, wholesale trade sales volume 4.3 percent, retail trade sales volume increased by 1.6 percent.
