Türkiye’s oil imports decreased by 0.1 percent in February

Türkiye’s total oil and oil products imports decreased by 0.1 percent in February compared to the same month of the previous year, 3 million 581 thousand 154 tons.

According to the “Petroleum Market Sector Report of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) on February, imports, which constitute the largest pen in Türkiye’s total oil imports, decreased by about 0.1 percent to 2 million 243 thousand 924 tons.

During this period, the importation of motorine types increased by about 12.6 percent to 1 million 19 thousand 676 tons. The rest of the import was created with fueloil species, aviation and maritime fuels and other products.

Thus, total imports decreased by 0.1 percent in February compared to the same month last year and was 3 million 581 thousand 154 tons.

The most crude oil and oil products imports were made from Russia with 2 million 282 thousand 968 tons, and this country was followed by Iraq with 506 thousand 95 tons and Kazakhstan with 182 thousand 778 tons.

On the other hand, domestic gasoline sales increased by 22.7 percent in February to 354 thousand 876 tons compared to the same month of last year, increased by 8.9 percent to 1 million 814 thousand 350 tons.

Total petroleum products sales increased by 9.1 percent to 2 million 293 thousand 400 tons recorded.

– Petroleum products exports increased by 10.7 percent

Türkiye’s motorine types exports to 43.8 percent in February compared to the same month of the last year, 521 thousand 660 tons, while maritime fuels exports 68.5 percent of 74 thousand 860 tons were recorded as 74 thousand 860 tons.

Exports of gasoline decreased by 85.3 percent to 5 thousand 175 tons, while aviation fuels exports decreased by 6.8 percent to 308 thousand 976 tons.

Total exports in the oil market increased by 10.7 percent to 1 million 118 thousand 970 tons.

Maritime fuels production increased by 46.5 percent in February compared to the same month last year and 83 thousand 861 tons were recorded.

On the other hand, the production of aviation fuels decreased by 8.7 percent to 415 thousand 152 tons, motorine species production decreased by 3.33 percent 1 million 332 thousand 616 tons and gasoline species production decreased by 0.8 percent was calculated as 364 thousand 127 tons.

Thus, the production of total refinery petroleum products increased by 2.1 percent to 2 million 891 thousand 111 tons.
