US President Donald Trump receives Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky for talks at the White House. According to the Ukrainian government, the most important topic of the meeting is the possible delivery of long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, which Kiev hopes to use to defend itself against the Russian war of aggression.
US President Donald Trump has speculated several times in the past about the delivery of the weapons, but has recently dampened expectations. He told reporters that the US should not exhaust its own supplies. “We need them too, so I don’t know what we can do about this matter.”

6:47 p.m: Zelenskyj arrived in Washington on Thursday and held talks with representatives of the US defense company Raytheon, which produces Tomahawk cruise missiles and Patriot systems. “We discussed Raytheon’s production capabilities and possible avenues for cooperation to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and long-range capabilities,” Zelensky said. A possible joint US-Ukrainian production was also discussed.
